Lack of Confidence

Had a bit of a crisis of confidence with the old bass playing yesterday…in fact if i’m honest it’s been lasting a few days. I just don’t want to let down Andi and Reagan by being crap when the band is otherwise doing really well. I feel that my quality of singing has gone down due to playing the bass, and understandibly my quality of bass playing isn’t great as i’ve only been playing a couple of weeks. BUT apparently those two things together still equal better than before.

I was suffering a bit from not having enough time to practice on Mr Big. Things are looking a bit less hectic in the out of work life now that i’ve finished japanese and the house is coming together, so i’m going to dedicate more time to doing proper practice as opposed to ‘practicing the songs’ so that i can become a much better bassist and hopefully have a better technique. Hopefully this weekend i will also be able to get a bass amp. Have arranged to buy one, just need to go and pick it up. £50 - BARGAIN.
