Strange crimes

Do you think this man was committing a crime? I’m not sure he was to be honest.

  1. I guess it depends on how old the bike was and whether it was consenting :p

  2. The fact that he was in a bedroom with the door locked and the cleaners unlocked it makes me somewhat suspicious of how this could be a crime. Anyway, putting someone doing something amusing like this behind a locked door on the same list as rapists and child molesters seems a bit much.

  3. Was it some form of training for the Etape?

  4. I remember reading that he was charged with a crime because he didn’t try to stop them coming in, and he didn’t stop once they came in. I think he’d have been fine if it wasn’t for that.

  5. He probably would have tried to stop them coming in, but there was a bike in the way.

  6. Sheriff Colin Miller told Stewart: “In almost four decades in the law I thought I had come across every perversion known to mankind, but this is a new one on me. I have never heard of a ‘cycle-sexualist’.”

    ‘cycle-sexualist’? ROFL

  7. If attempting to have sexual relations with a bike, in private, is illegal. I suppose I should turn myself in. I attempted, & on a couple of memorable occasions, succeeded in “sleeping” with women, who I now know could be considered bikes!

If he’d been having sex with a human partner, of either gender, and he didn’t stop when the cleaners forced their way in to the room, would he still have been hauled before the judge?

  8. He can’t help being bike-curious.
